12 November

A new 7 minute 48 second video by Boko Haram shows a firefight with Nigerian forces and dead Nigerian soldiers and displaying a captured Vickers MBT being driven under vegetation as well as captured arms. The speaker claims the footage is from an ambush on Nigerian forces in the SAMBISA Forest on 10 November. The date and veracity of the images have not been confirmed.

13 November

Suspected nomadic gunmen attacked KOH Village, GIREI LGA, ADAMAWA State killing one person

5 suspected Boko Haram members infiltrated MUKTUM Village, GUJBA LGA, YOBE State around 11.30pm, where one the their number murdered his father

2 x female PBIEDs attempted to infiltrate DIKWA IDP Camp in DIKWA LGA, BORNO State around 8.35pm, detonating and killing themselves and 1 other person

14 November

The YOBE State Commisioner of Police stated that the Command had lost 235 officers and men in the last 6 years to the Boko Haram insurgency

15 November

2 x male and 2 x female suspected PBIEDs attacked MUNA GARI, KONDUGA LGA on the outskirts of MAIDUGURI, BORNO State. The first detonated around 6.13pm in a Prayer Ground killing 12 people, the second detonated in a private house killing a mother and child, whilst the last 2 detonated killing only themselves. 29 people were wounded

Gunmen attacked SABON GARI and KAFIN HAUSA Villages, MADAGALI LGA, ADAMAWA State in the evening but were repelled after burning houses and killing livestock with several enemy killed

16 November

The Chairman of MADAGALI LGA, ADAMAWA State Alhaji Yusuf MOHAMMED stated that up to 500 hunters and vigilantes were being supported by the Local Government with funding and shotgun cartridges

18 November

2 x suspected female PBIEDs detonated on the outskirts of ALAKARAMTI, JERE LGA, BORNO State killing only themselves. 2 more suspected female PBIEDS infiltrated the village but fled into a crowd when challenged by CJTF vigiantes and security personnel. One detonated around 6.50am next to an akara seller killing herself and the traders son and wounding the trader. Her companion detonated killing 6 people and wounding 4 others. 1 more female PBIED removed her device and hid it behind a house, she was captured alive by locals and handed over to the security forces. The device was made safe by Police EOD

12 November

Suspected kidnappers abducted a local Vigilante leader Haruna MAIKAJI in the vicinity of SABON GAYAN Village, KADUNA State, stoning him to death and dismembering his body. Local youths blocked the KADUNA-ABUJA Road in protest, murdering 3 Fulani men in revenge, another Fulani man escaped with machete wounds

13 November

Elements of Op Absolute Sanity killed 2 men suspected of invovlement in the murder of Haru MANYA in SABON GAYA, CHIKUN LGA, KADUNA State

14 November

The NPF paraded 8 suspected kidnappers and armed robbers who operated along the KADUNA-ABUJA Expressway recovering 1 x AK 47, 3 x locally made firearms, 1 x live cartdridge, 2 x cars

4 NAF Flt Lts completed theur Jet Flying Course at 403 Flying Training School, NAF KANO

15 November

KANO State Police Command arrested 3 suspected kidnappers in KANO City, rescuing 7 abductees. The police stated that the parents had paid hundreds of thousands of naira in ransom via mobile phone recharge cards, the children were allegedly sent to ward heads in GWARZO to look after as missing children

18 November

Militants from BAKOSHI, SURU LGA, KEBBI State attacked BANBALA (a Fulani village) in apparent retaliation for the alleged murder of a local farmer by herdsmen. The attackers burnt houses and other property and hundreds of cattle

Situation North Centre (Abuja FCT, Bauchi, Benue, Gombe, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Taraba States)

12 November

NPF in BENUE State have arrested 3 Fulani men on suspicion of murdering a man who attempted to prevent them raping a woman in IFHO Village, TSAV District, GUMA LGA on 10 November

Suspected nomadic herdsmen ambushed a motorcycle around 9.30pm in the vicinity of WERENG Village, RIYOM LGA, PLATEAU State killing 2 people with bladed weapons

13 November

The DSS Director of Operations Godwin ETENG testified before the House of Representatives Joint Committee on Customs and Excise and National Intelligence that there was an increase in the importation of small arms and light weapons mainly in NASARAWA, BENUE, TARABA and PLATEAU States

KOGI State Police Command paraded 12 people suspected of armed robbery, unlawful possesion of firearms, kidnapping, vandalism and car theft in the vicinity of IDAH. The suspects are alleged to be part of the NEO Black African Confraternity, recovering 3 x AK 47, 1 x pump action shotgun, cutlasses, shotgun cartridges, kinves and charms

Defence HQ deployed an investigatory team to JOS, PLATEAU State to investigate the causes of the violence in the state

15 November

Gunmen ambushed a vehicle on its way to EBONYI State from ABUJA shooting and wounding the driver and abducting 3 members of staff from the Federal Teaching Hospital, ABAKILIKI, EBONYI State in the vicinity of AJAOKUTA, KOGI State

17 November

The SOKOTO State Police Command paraded 5 suspected drug dealers arrested in RAYMOND Village and DANTATAKO Village, GWADABAWA LGA with various substances such as Tutoling Syrup, Cannabis, and Diazepam

18 November

A communal clash between KABAWA and ONUMAYE Communities, KOTON KARFE LGA, KOGI State led to one death and several woundedand several houses burnt including that of a traditional ruler. The dispute was reportedly over a piece of land and fish pond

The 3 kidnapped staff of Federal Teaching Hospital, ABAKILIKI, EBONYI State were released in the vicinity of AJAOKUTA, KOGI State

19 November

Gunmen mounted on a motorcycle followed and murdered the Madakin Gsram (Village Head) of FAKKOS Village, BOKKOS LGA, PLATEAU State

12 November

Gunmen burnt down a public school in VOUZI, MAYO TSANAGA Department, EXTREME NORD Region

16 November

An member of the MNJTF shot a female friend in MADA, LOGONE ET CHARI Department near WAZA

Camerounian forces degtained Abba GOROMA (aka Abba ADAM/ Alhaji HASSAN) an alleged senior Boko Haram member and 4 of his alleged bodyguards om KODEK, DIAMARE Department and transferred to YAOUNDE.

BENIN Republic has deployed 150 troops to join the MNJTF, with the Company joining MNJTF HQ, FARCHA Camp in N’DJAMENA, CHAD for Force Protection duties
