Several dozen women marched from DUHU to GULAK to protest alleged extrajudicial killings and illegal detentions by military and vigilante in GULA and DUHU Villages, MADAGALI LGA, ADAMAWA State. Outgoing 28 TF Bde commander Brig Gen Victor EZUGWU denied the allegations. Residents accuse mainly Christian vigilantes of the excesses. Several vigilante members were arrested for the alleged murder of 3 Fulani brothers

Suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked UDENI RUWA and OKPAYA villages in the UDENI RUWA Ward, NASARAWA LGA, NASARAWA State around 11.00pm killing 15 Agatu people of whom 5 drowned trying to escape and burning down the village. The attack was allegedly a reprisal after 3 Fulani herdsmen disappeared after grazing their cattle in the area and the corpse of one of them was found

04 January

Gunmen attacked TOSHIA Village, CHIBOK LGA, BORNO State at night wounding several villagers, burning huts and stealing food and livestock

Gunmen disguised in military style uniforms infiltrated the neighbouring towns of IZGHE GWOZA, GWOZA LGA and IZGHE DAMBOA, DAMBOA LGA, BORNO State around 7.00pm and gathered villagers together using a ruse and then killed those identified as vigilantes, killing up to 19 people, 3 female PBIEDs then infiltrated the fleeing villagers and detonated killing 7.

Gunmen mounted on bicycles attacked IZGEKI Village, GWOZA LGA, BORNO State from IZGE, killing 2 people, who then fled to IZGHE, GWOZA LGA, BORNO State where a male PBIED detonated amongst them near the market killing another 5
